Dancing

Instead of my heart,
my whole body starts beating.

My thoughts stop,
but my body knows what to do.

Watch me,
Don't watch,
I don't care.
As long as you let me move.

Sometimes I even forget to breathe,
I'm so focused.
I gasp for air to continue.

I grow wings on my feet,
I don't weigh a thing,
I flow like the wind,
I have left this world,
My feelings overwhelming.

Suddenly the music stops and I wake up.

But to leave this world again,
all I have to do is press "replay".
